I am sorry for all your troubles as of late, water, power, ice, work, all of that. Y'all hang in there, no matter what that groundhog says, spring is coming. Yes, work can be frustrating and despicable from time to time, being yelled at, sworn at, mean people and bad attitudes, that's my motivation to leave the house and go to work! LOL! (JK).

Thanks guys, it no big thing. I did swear off the corporate life a few years ago...but they drag you back in.
It’s a money thing and I feel like @#$%^& at times, but the light at the end of the tunnel is only 10 years away. Hope it’s not a train.
Maybe I will make some corporate logo targets?

Dan what side effects are you experiencing? I hope you both feel better soon.

Did Mike tune the R9? I think you will enjoy that one. My 95 is really growing on me since I turned it into a 22.

The two HWs I have have ruined my false justification process making further acquisitions far more difficult. I do want another 30 or a 50 in .177, but either would have to be a silver one to get me to move.

Maybe crazy uncle Joe will buy me one? Meh, I am in no hurry.

Getting light lake effect snow now but they say it won’t amount to much.

Oh we won't get our 2nd injection until later this morning.  Tomorrow, I was told, we will experience flu like side effects. 

I'm was/am under the assumption that Mike "tuned" it. This was his email to me,  "Dan, have it done and will go out this afternoon via UPS. Tracking is 1z5f939a039597xxxx   Thank you, Mike" I am thinking,  have it done means tuned.

Plans for today is to visit mother-in-law. We're bringin' potato & chicken salad for lunch, then take her to the "big city" North Platte so she can shop, her driving ain't the best at 90ish. In the tiny Sandhills town she's lived in forever, they come get her for her appointment at the beauty parlor every Friday morning then take her home so she don't have to drive in the winter. There's good points to livin' in the middle of nowhere.

Mike, I know how important the beauty parlor appointments are to the older ladies.  At 90 years old, my mother had a pacemaker implanted and was told she could not drive for two weeks.  Well, the next week, she drove herself to the appointment.  When asked why, her comment was something like:  Well, I had to get my hair done.  Proud of her independence to the max!

I received an email from UPS that my package (R9) from Flying Dragon Air Rifles will be delayed an extra day due to the winter storm.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0300 CST, guess I’m getting ready for DST... where 3 is the new 4. Had a good day at work yesterday, I was the only 1 in the state that got out. More work today. That 1st call I went to yesterday, store was closed, so I went somewhere else and got on a roof. I’ll be going back to Stilwell at sun-up. Supposed to get to 34*, and I’m waiting on a pellet order for the Parrus. Today is going to be a good day.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0345 CST... and it’s 30°F outside, and if you factor in windchill 22°F. It's supposed to warm up to 46°F later today around 1500 CST

Yesterday at 0855 CST we received our second round of the Pfizer vaccine. It's been 19-1/2 hours and the only side effects have been a sore arm at the injection point and a mild headache.  We'll see how the day progresses. 

My Beeman R9 from FDAR delivery date has been updated again,  apparently it's back on schedule according to an update from UPS but tracking location still has it in Iowa. Tracking shows a Monday delivery date but I believe Tuesday or Wednesday is more realistic.

Good to hear how you & Mrs. Pam are doing, Brother Dan! Our shipping is about the same. My pellets got stuck in KC, MO at 1003 hrs yesterday, but left at 2249 hrs. Could be here today, via FedEx. Weather up to date predicts it’ll be 60* here on Tuesday! We’ve got some mid-40*s after that, but Spring is so close I can feel it.

Thanks for your prayers. The Bradford pear tree in our back yard was full of blooms as Spring approaches. I wonder how bad the ice storm affected it.

Well I so called "shoveled" the driveway for the first time in my life. Didn't have the right shovel for the job either so I found it much easier using the metal rake than the shovel I had. I'd rake the top snow away, break the bottom ice loose by raking or chopping it up, then I'd turn the rake upside down for the final scrape of the ice away using it's rear brace. Don't laugh it worked!

Got to do what you got to do, Gil! The guy in Pine Bluff said he didn’t own a snow shovel either, but the boss wanted the vans out ASAP. All he had was a pointed spade. Most of the guys didn’t know what to use. Our roads are looking a lot better after 2 days of sunshine.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CST. It’s a heatwave, 25* this morning, supposed to get to about 45*. It’s going to be a muddy mess here pretty soon. I’m working this weekend and I’ll start off in Mountainburg, indoors on a cooler. My JSB pellets should be here today, they’re at my local FedEx hub. Hopefully, after work I can shoot some to see how they do. Should be a good day.
