We got thunderstorms and hail yesterday, today is suppose to be a high of 63 with 10 to 20 mph winds this afternoon. The 18th through the 25th it's forecast to get into the 70's every day with the 23rd being warmest at 78.
 I hope it happens but those 10 day forecasts seem to change a lot. if not I may just ride my motorcycle out to Palm Springs or Anza Borrego for some 80 degree temps. I can be in either place in less than an hour and fifteen minutes.

Good morning GTA.  I woke up at 0430 CST and it's cold for S. Mississippi.  It's 32° under cloudy skies with winds N at 10 mph making it feel like 24°.  It's not supposed to warm up but 5° today with a high of only 37° with that persistent 10 mph wind.
No plans, well we may finish our puzzle.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0500 CST, it’s 7* right now, -8* with the windchill. A degree up & down is all we’re going to get to today. Having coffee and just waiting to see what we get with the snow. I hated to cancel our trip to the Barn Meeting last night. Venturing out could be unsafe, especially in the dark with black ice. 3”-6” of snow is what they’re saying for today. Could be much more Tuesday-Wednesday. I’m going to try to stay inside and read a book.

Morning, slept in today, 5:40! -6 degree and I don’t talk wind chill. If it’s windy it’s nasty cold and the number means nothing to me.
Snowed all day yesterday, 4” of fluff.

I do not know how may targets in an ink cartridge, but I have gone through 7,000 or so pellets since May. Not much shooting has gone on since I ran the printer out of ink.

The reaction was like I bought another rifle. But she is wonderful. Yesterday, out of the blue, she tells me to send her the file. She ordered 1,000 copies from somewhere on line for far less than a printer cartridge. She is the best.

Today the job is to put together some torture device that showed up yesterday. Elliptical exercise machine. Yet another thing in my 10m range to not shoot.

She is my sweetie, but neither of us give any significance to Feb. 14, but we are cooking fillets on the steak stones.

It is a brisk -24F at my place wth a 8mph NW wind.   
The wind chill is  -42F. 
There is a wind chill warning in effect for today until around 11 am or so.

I count my blessings, as it could be colder.
Harvey North Dakota shows -34F And -54F Wind chill.

Time to fix breakfast then get ready for church.

Mornin'...
Been up since 4:30.
Filled my 4500 scba tank from 3100 to 4300 with the MKII. Took about 15 minutes and the temp went to 130f.
Then I took the CP800 back down and put all new orings in it. (SPA CP1/CP2 HPA conversion)
Gonna grab a shower and do some more tinkering/shooting before the Daytona 500 today.
Still damp and dreary outside.

Up at six.  Pouring rain, temps in the mid sixties.  Wellies, poncho, and gor-tex hat. It’s a little too cold to carry the Crosman 2240 so I grabbed my trusty 2100 and took the dogs for a slog around the pasture.  Sometimes on a day like this Flash will surprise a rabbit or some quail huddled under the palmetto.  Today he must have seen a rabbit because he was off like a shot.  I never saw what he was chasing but he had a great time tearing through the sodden bushes and puddles.  The Crosman 2100 makes a great foul weather gun because of its plastic furniture.

 Today I planned on shooting the 10M casual match... but first Hoosier Momma reminded me that I agreed to do the taxes today.

So far we got puzzles, taxes, books, shootin' and the Daytona 500. I have the grandkids coming over so its going to be Frozen and Aquanauts for me.

Its a crisp -24 F this morning, -27 again tomorrow morning and then we start warming up all the way to -21 F on Tuesday morning!

Yes Dan I did, finished that Friday night. Waiting on the weather to clear so I can get the backhoe in the shop to lift it onto the base. I will have to get ring eye bolts for it, there is no place on it for straps. The ring eyes will go in the mounting holes so I can pick up all 4 corners at the same time. This machine weighs about 150lbs. Just a little more weight than I want to pick up on my own.

Can you choke it with a strap or a rope? That way the mounting holes are clear when you set it.

Already looked at that option, it would damage some of the machinery. I have done this before with other equipment, just place thick enough wood slats under the machine so the nuts can be taken off and gently slide the slats out. I just don't want to risk knocking something out of alignment.

Off work at 7 am this morning.  Made the sloppy commute home (not bad really).  Ate a valentines breakfast of waffles, strawberries, whipped cream with sliced cantaloupe on the side for breakfast.  Took a couple hour nap.  Streamed church.  Had a snowball fight with some of the kids.  Of course it’s always dad against everyone else.  Made a really wet snow wall/fort with the three youngest.  Ate chocolate and coffee and chocolate 🍫 and milk 🥛.  Chicken pot pies just went into the oven.  I’m chilling on a loveseat with my feet up and surfing the forums.  I did shoot a few pellets into the snow and at a plastic ball but there was too much outside activity going on to get really set up proper so I put the HW30S away for later.  It’s warmed up to 45 degrees outside and the great melt off is beginning. 

Whew!  That what I did.  Now for my plans for the day...

Eat delicious and satisfying pot pie, sip coffee or tea, enjoy the afternoon at home with my people.
