Wow! Just thought I’d check once more before I check the weather & get dressed & ready to shoot... my new scope did make it to my local FedEx distribution center and is on a truck out for delivery! I’m pretty excited!

David I see they set you up with the link. I shoot both the 177 and 22 versions.
Chasing these dots has helped my rested shooting tremendously.

I figure the better I get at 10m, the better I will be at longer ranges when I finally can get out and shoot longer ranges.

Haha! This one’s for the Parrus. (Someday she’ll inherit them all!) She hasn’t shot much with me this winter. My old heater died and the new one doesn’t keep the garage very warm once I open the door for shooting. I can’t wait for warmer weather and for her to shoot with me more often again.

Thank you for the assistance, I sure could use the pick-me-up as the polar vortex arrives today. Hopefully the sun will shine and I'll get a walk in tonight but the PCP would suffer too much at -20 to be worth carrying it.

Cold and rainy this morning.  Currently 44 degrees with a high predicted of only 48.   Ridiculous, especially for lower Alabama.  Looks like I wont be shooting my new Fusion 2 today - not the best conditions for a CO2 rifle.  Oh well, I'll mount the scope, clean the sticky greasy stuff off of it, maybe load it up with a couple of 12 grams cartridges and see what it sounds like in my garage.

I'm confused about scoring those targets. Like the one Kurt shot.  What is considered an "X" on scoring those targets?

Dan, the round heads don’t make nice holes, so for scoring you take a wadcutter and center the head as best you can over what you think is the center of the hole.

If the pellet head is touching the dot at all, it is a 10. For a bull on the 5.5mm targets, you must eliminate the shaded area.

On the 177 targets there is not a shaded area around the dot, and the dot is a little bigger @3.5mm

I need some good 22wadcutters for this, but I only have Hobby now, and they just do not shoot as well. Good, but not like the Falcons.

Off work at 11 pm last night.  Up this morning to start 16 hours at work today.  7am-11pm.  15 more to go.  Ha ha! 

My day is open to whatever comes our way.  I’ll start the shutdown procedure at 10:30 pm tonight to switch into weekend mode..... 

While I am here and standing by I’ll read, surf the web, watch YouTube, go on frequent walks and hopefully have as little work as possible take place in between.  Sounds funny to say that but when you work for an electrical utility, work means problems and the lights are out somewhere.  I vote for smooth sailing because that means people have their power and they are content.  If problems arise, we are here to help.  Some days I feel like the Maytag repair man, others I’m busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest.  It all pays the same whether I’m fighting or marching...
