Up at 0430 CST.....Next Saturday I have our monthly barn meeting, then Sunday after Ch**ch, I’m planning on heading towards Hot Springs, my Mom is moving into her new house. There’s a lot more going on with work too.....Congratulations on your mom's new house. That's about a 4 hour drive from you right?

...... Anything below 32* is freezing. Anything below zero, who’s counting anymore? It is harder though, to keep warm the further below zero you go.
I love to get all dressed up and go snowshoeing or snowmobiling or cross-country skiing when it's super cold! I think actual air temperature was -47 below zero about 8 years ago in Hibbing Minnesota on a snowmobile trip with friends. We never felt the cold because we had the right gear. The carburetors sure didn't like the weather and the propane tank had to be brought inside so that the propane would turn to a gas from a liquid!

I'll shoot some airguns this afternoon. I repaired a Drawer Slide in the kitchen that has been meesed up since 1998? I think. We hardly ever open that drawer so it just never was a priority, LOL.I was born in Minnesota and lived in the northeast corner of Indiana and two places in North Dakota one 5 miles from the Canadian border when I was a kid. Walhalla has about 185 freezing days per year. My brother and I played outside in below zero temp and we built an Igloo, inside of it seemed pretty warm, we usually took of our coats while we were in it, of coarse we still had layers on .
Thank you for the reminder to plow snow up for the grand kids and my son. We call them "snow forts" around here. ....We made a "legitimate" Igloo out of blocks of tightly pack snow then we got the garden hose out of the garage and watered with a hose to turn it to ice. There was still an ice ring left at the beginning of the next winter...

Mornin... 5 degrees this morning here.I get to change another tire today... This time on my truck. Last night on the way home from the Lodge I was almost Home and heard a "POP" then the low tire alarm came on and the left rear instantly said "0"."Fortunately" the road was deep in snow and I limped it home without damaging the rim. Would have stunk if I was miles from home, changing a tire along side the road in the dark and single digits.
Just my luck...Hoosier Momma had a nail, Last night I musta ran over something because I heard it "POP"
