Slept in to 0700 this morning, got coffee and put 3 mags through the DAR at 50 yards. No wind so near perfect conditions to do so.

@Brett, I entered the Navy in '88 with a contract for Aviation structural mechanic as long as I passed all my classes.

I bet they do similar things in the reserves?

Mornin' gents.
Got home from the ATV park at around 7:30 last night. Showered and got a bite to eat and went to bed.
I have never seen so many ATVs in one place in my life. These events attract some monster builds. Even so, only a handful were able to make the full run in either class, large and small tire. Those pits were knarly. The winner in the small tire class was a 4 wheeler with paddle tires. That 14 year old knew what he was doing. He eased into the pit and got to the point where others went deep and he opened it up in high 4x4. The bike came up on the top of the water and hydroed to the finish line. He got $3200.00 for his efforts..... awesome.
Meanwhile... I got up at 4am and put the coffee on. After Betty Lou and Rambo got up I went to the gun room to set up for the day's airgun stuff but, that's another thread.

Woke up at 0500. Fell back asleep going in and out until 7:30ish and laid there in the warmth of the covers until 0800. Heated up coffee, made lattes for Michele and a couple of the girls. Read, surfed, ate a bagel with cream cheese and was still hungry so I ate a HUGE bowl of cold oatmeal with dried cranberries and toasted pecans.

Gonna watch church, yeah, watch church. Sounds funny eh? Then probably going to shoot my HW30S some more. Thinking about remounting the scope on it..... Maybe the boys will want to shoot some too. Then I’m sure there will be some sort of other activities happening throughout the rest of the day but nothing really planned except for dropping off and picking up Micah later in the afternoon/evening from his aircraft build night. He is part of a group that is building a Vans Aircraft RV12iS.

STILL snowing... But I didn't want to wait any longer so I ventured out with the snowblower about 1:00pm
T.V says we have gotten about 5" here but considerably more just 35 miles south where Mom lives. Ft Wayne had 7.6" at 8:00am!

We are getting hit with the snow tomorrow afternoon through Tuesday....into Wednesday a bit,... they are saying up to 12 inches...

Wow...Scott & Wendall...I am so sorry for you guys.
For once, I got lucky and got a Pass.
I got nothing but "Nuisance Snow" today, of maybe 1/2 inch and +32F.
More snow coming on Thursday though (too early to tell how much yet) and then a temperature drop.
The high on Saturday is forecasted to be +6F and the low is forecasted to be -10F.
Sunday is supposed to be even colder. Maybe +2F for the high and -20F for the low.

We just got a dusting today but the 10 day shows -20 F in a week. Tuesday and Wednesday will be 32 F so some firewood needs to be laid up.

Good Morning GTA! I slept in until 0445 CST. Let the dogs out and having my coffee. I’ve got a Harbor Freight PM to do today in Rogers. 31* right now, 22* with the windchill. It’s supposed to get to 45* though. Should be a good day.

I had an exposure to Covid so I get to sit in the parking lot every other day for the next two weeks to get a rapid test before I can come inside to work.

Not sick, no symptoms but protocol is protocol.

Just finished searing a chuck roast not into the oven low and slow. I had ordered a rump roast but they sent a chuck roast instead. Oh well....
I'm gonna take my zero turn mower in for repair, it's got some electrical problem I can't figure out.

Coffee, reading, removed scope from HW30S (AO ring has gone wonky), wife took a son and dropped him off at work. We are both sitting here reading. Well, I’m surfing now. One son has a headache and upset stomach. Others are in the process of waking.

This is the 2nd day of our weekend. I’ll probably straighten up the shop some from working on both HW30S guns.

Not sure what else, if anything, I’ll do today. The work week from last week has caught up to me today and I’m really not feeling like doing much. It’s gray and calm outside and not too cold. I think I’ll just hang here and stay cozy until I get bored then I’ll figure out what I want to tackle today.

Coffee so far, the wife and 2 grandsons left last night after Church to go visit relatives in Idaho for a week or so. The dogs and I are sitting here surfing the web and drinking coffee now

(OK the dogs are just with me, LOL).

I’ll mess up the house with spreading out some airguns and clean and oil them up. I have 4 fold up tables I'll set up that would be in the way if I were not Home Alone for this staycation. I always miss my wife when we are parted for a few days but take advantage of having the space to myself. I'm sure the dogs are glad I didn't go too

Not sure what else, if anything, I’ll do today. It’s cloudy and calm outside with a high of 69 this afternoon. I think I’ll just be inside mostly today and try to finish cleaning and applying protection to the airguns. I’ll figure out what I want to shoot through the week too, the 10 day looks real nice with highs from 69-73 degrees.

Wow. WINDY. The strong winds have blown one of my spinner racks over. That usually doesn't happen. Winds at 18 to 20 mph with gust to 25 mph. Windchill at 32°. Just gonna sit im my recliner and surf.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CST. Yesterday I got re-routed to an ice machine call. It took all day because I had to go get parts for it. But it was a good day. Today I have my meeting at 0600 and then I’ll go do that Harbor Freight job. Looks like it’s going to get a little warmer everyday thru Thursday and then some real winter after that and all next week. Maybe even some snow starting Monday. Of course, all that can change.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0430 CST. It's a chilly 30° this morning and this afternoon it should be sunny and reach 50° winds are going to be NNW at 8 mph all day.

My wife pulled a muscle a few days back and I thought I should stay home so I didn't get to take my mower in for repair yesterday.

After breakfast and coffee we'll see where the day goes from there.

Sure hope Mrs. Pam gets to feeling better, Brother Dan. My wife’s knee blew up a couple days ago. Yesterday I brought her home a menthol infused knee wrap. Now if I can just get her to wear it.
