Good morning, been a few days since i have been on here. I have 1377 parts sitting in my checkout cart waiting for me to pull the trigger. Shoulder stock and metal breach, are they worth the cost of the gun to get?

I think so. I have two shoulder stocks, one on a 1377 and one on a 1322. Of course the steel breech are a much added improvement worth the cost fo me. A must are the custom breech screws from Magnum Airpower.

You guys hav exciting lives. Wow Tom, you have quite the list today.

We went over retirement finances this last weekend. Makes my head swim, but I married well. She is not an accountant, but you wouldn’t believe that if you saw her planning spreadsheet. 7-10 years, seems to me forever.
She assures me we will still be able to buy dog food, minnows and projectiles.

I will sign on to work @7:30, meetings bla bla bla.

Still waiting on the mailman to bring a link pin for the HW95. Probably won’t shoot much if at all today, the range is still full of the closet door project. I know home improvement is necessary, but I have never liked that stuff. But happy wife...

We will have a warm up for the next couple days which will hopefully melt the ice from the storm a couple weeks ago. The freezing rain mixed with snow clogged my gutters on the north side and started building ice dams.
Can’t do anything but hope for warmth.

Good morning Brandon. The steel breech is good thing and super easy to install. I just had my 2240 apart last weekend, easypeasy. It opens you up to a wider variety of sighting options.

I am mixed on the stock. Too short for me with open sights, and with a scope I feel like I lose the handiness. I am still buying options and will settle on a peepsight.
I still like my 1986 1377 better than my 1300kt or 2240.

Thanks, not sure i want to spend money into the 1377 or just use that money to buy another air rifle like a daisy 880 for the same cost. I think this might be a gun i give my son when he gets old enough to shoot.

Good morning, I got at 0400 CST this morning. I've had my "first breakfast" (Hobbit) and drinking coffee now.
It was drizzling earlier this morning but seems to have stopped. It's hovering around the freezing mark now but is suppose to warm up to near 50° this afternoon. After lunch I may get to shoot the winds will be down forecast show W @ 4.

Our daughter has to be at work early this morning so we will leave at 6:00 and drive to my daughter's house to take Lorelei to school. Her sibling can walk across the street to the middle school.

Good morning, yesterday I worked 12 hours! I say that tongue in cheek as it was just sitting in my recliner pecking on a PC, or attending meetings.
That did cut into my air gun time.

Work again today, with some shooting mixed in. FedEx claims they will bring me some 22 pellets today.

Last night I did some work on my HW95, so some shooting will happen with that one today.

Over 40 degrees again today!

Good morning. It's hard to believe the month is nearly half over. Well, I got up at 4:15 CST this morning. Yesterday was fun. I got to shoot my HW50 and RWS460.

Hopefully after running up to the county tax office again I'll be able to shoot some more. (I had received my property tax statement and it was incorrect, so I went Tuesday to have it corrected apparently the change order on the 8 acres I had acquired from my father's estate had been lost, the lady called me yesterday an told me they found it and it's fixed now.)

The weather forecast shows sunny and 62° today but with SSW winds at 12 mph. Oh well, spinner day today.

What a relief to see the Sun after so many days of drenching rain and listening to the sump pump in the crawl space. Long park / lake walk with The Missus and some bird and critter spying. We have nutria, beaver, muskrat, and otter in our neighborhood lake and of course ton of different birds.

Maybe buy her a SLR camera today with a decent telephoto.

One of my new tires just got a cut sidewall from my driving over a rusted metal piece on the road shoulder letting people pass before I made a turn to not hold them up. Blew almost $300 for a replacement and hoping it will arrive tomorrow. From now on I'm not driving on the shoulder regardless if idiots honk or flip me off as it's not worth ruining another new tire thanks to idiots loading pickup trailers full of scrap that's unsecured.

I Went on a nice 270 mile motorcycle ride today we went to the east side of the Salton Sea made a big loop around it.
