That is like some of my past Shut-down plans... everything all set, machine apart and vendor made a mistake... then closed for the holidays.

Last year I replaced an entire barrel and screw on an extruder only to find the die on the end won't bolt up because the bolt pattern was wrong. Had to pull it all off and put the old back on.

I am hooked on METV as well.
This morning was Looney toons after Popeye... then Maverick, Big Valley and now Gunsmoke... but no Road-Runner yet.

I was hoping for Foghorn Leghorn.

It's 67 at 10:55 AM so I am going to get out and do some work in the backyard and cleanup my tool-shed. Mostly just to enjoy the air, but with my grandson that has been staying with us I have to keep a close watch on my tools because he is not diligent about getting them all back where he got them after each use.

It will probably show up later since he has some of his own tools, he wasn't home today so I couldn't check if he took it or it got mixed in with his.

Good morning! Up at 0400 CST. I checked the temp when I got out of bed it was 34° now it's 32°, hmm?
Plans today....Eat a piece of toast, then coffee, then surf GTA, then get ready to Zoom Bible Fellowship, make some more coffee, then stream church service, then lunch, then nap then shoot. I forgot to add coffee in there a few more times.
Forecast today is cloudy in the am and mostly cloudy in the pm, temperatures soaring to 45° with a ENE wind @ 4 mph.

The pellets SteveP-52 sent haven't arrived. USPS tracking says they're running late. Sad.

Good Morning GTA! Got up at 0600 CST. Got home an hour late from the Barn Meeting, usually get home about 2100, so I didn’t go to bed until 2300. A Yuge pot of gumbo is what we had and big pan of white rice & fish on the side. Blackberry cobbler & strawberry topped cheesecake. Of course I got stuffed, and we had a “town hall” kind of meeting... my wife is up, now I can’t think or talk or type... she’s singing solo today, to be continued...

Up in ouch mode, the usual stiffness is on a level 10 this morning. Anyway, nothing in the camera and nothing in the traps. Ordered animal food, will pick that up later today. Get fuel for the tractor and truck. Clean up(dirty word) stuff and get ready for another work(another dirty word)week. Was hoping the sun would shine but it's over cast and cold here now. Onward ho!

Up at 5:00 and it is 36 degrees now. It is suppose to be a few degrees cooler today but still nice.
Here is a look at the ten day forecast for where I live, it looks like it will feel great with three days in the low 80's with very low humidity.
....BUT we need rain and none is seen coming yet.

First chance to post today. Got all the honey-do’s done and I’m contemplating which air rifle to carry on a hike in the refuge. Today is the last day of small game season in the St. Marks NWR and I want to hunt the Sand hills one last time. Beaucoup quail and turkey in there. The RIM is quick handling but max range is only forty yards. The Hatsan 125 has got the reach to hunt the sand hills but I don’t know if I want to hump that heavy sucker for 3 or 4 miles. Wish me luck.

I'm usually up at 4:00 am...but ...I slept in to 7:00 am today and started getting ready for 9:00 am church.
It had warmed up to +13 F by 7 am this morning and it is supposed to break +20 F today.
(Maybe a day in the 30's later on this week. Hurray, the midwinter warm-up is great).

A few days ago, I went up and shoveled all the snow from the Dec. 24 blizzard, off of my roof top. I am glad that job is now done.
If we don't get any more monster snow storms this winter, I should not have to go up there and do it again for the remainder of this winter.

The day is well on its way but I didn't get out of bed until 0905. This isn't normal for us. It's been like this since just before Christmas.

Currently it's 47 with high thin clouds so the sun is shining through strong enough for shadows. I'll probably clean up some in the shop, make a mess in the shop and I'm thinking about grabbing the HW95 AND/OR HW97K and trying my hand at some 50 yard groups. It's been quite some time since I sat down with any type airgun and tried for tiny holes clumped together on paper.

Then there are other things that need to be done but who really wants to hear about that boring stuff anyway so IL spare those details. It's supposed to be the weekend.

Got around a half inch of snow so far which is the first time in several years that I've seen it. I like the cold because no insects and I like wearing thick winter clothes. Today is my day of rest so I'm enjoying it.

Today I am going to shampoo the living room carpet and the upstairs hallway.
After my wife gets up, I will do the bedrooms.
Hopefully, everything will be dry by 11 am.

Good morning, rather good rainy morning folks. Up at 0409 CST. It's 34° winds NE @ 7 chill factor puts it at 30°, forecast shows 90% chance of rain/sleet/snow mixture till noon.
Well this is turning out to be a messy day.

I just walked outside and it's just rain at the present. Sleet will cause more accidents on the roadway I'm hoping it warms up a tad to prevent that. These folks around here don't drive well in icy conditions.

Plans to shoot scrubbed. Possibly later this afternoon but I'm doubting it will happen.
