Ground WAS bare yesterday. Snowed over night, and still coming down.  3-4" so far. 
 Will be watching the tube/ movies..   no projects..

Morning!
What a glorious morning it is here. Sun rise on a calm crisp clear morning... I have been up since 5:00 and the Dog and I have already have been to town and back.
 2 Grand Daughters woke up here in their P.J.s at 7:00.
Some one needs to bottle their energy!!!

Every time I think "I wish I had their energy", I think how bad it would hurt me to use that much energy now. Bouncing off the walls, floors, rocks. trees .... is for young bodies.

Heating shop, cleanup shop, make shop dirty again with fixing an air rifle.  Gonna go start a pot of coffee to supply me for the rest of the day.  5 days off work now.  Yay!

I remember what it was like to be that young and pain free. Grateful I have those memories as there are many kids who were never healthy enough to play like I did. We will have new bodies in the future free of pain to do whatever we please way longer than we ever suffered in our short lives here and that helps cope with the suffering of getting older now as its just temporary compared to our eternal inheritance that awaits.

I’m up, almost back to normal, opened my eyes at 0411 CST. I’m back to work today too. 2 hour drive to Lamar, but a couple cups of coffee first. The last week of the month/year is the best time to go back to work, since so many others are still off or taking it easy.

That's good to hear, I'll dial back my worries about you.

Oh, I feel great. I suffer from outdoor allergies but they don't stop me just aggravate me. Other than occasional headaches I'm good. Just body aches associated with aging, and cocking magnum springers, LOL but even then I very rarely take any pain medicine.

Sorry you have to go back to work. I'm really enjoying my retirement more than I thought...which is amazing in its self cause I have always enjoyed my time off and for years looked forward to retirement. I just didn't realize it would be so much fun. No rushing is the biggest thing. I was always a fast worker,  probably due to having to hurry, hurry, hurry the 20 years I was delivering packages at UPS but now I'm learning to s l o w down. And I  like it!!!

Thanks Dan. I know all about the work fast, hurry up & learn to slow down part. Each job I’ve had after the military, I’ve been told to slow down. Probably another 15 years before I retire, I don’t know how much slower I can get that I’ll accept, haha! You have a great day too, Brother!

I picked up a 5x8 utility trailer from the neighbor yesterday so I spent the day putting a new jack and light kit on it. This one will be for the Z turn mower.
Then we put new locks all the way around the barn. Needed a bit more security around here for the times we spend away from home.
This morning we're packing the RV and heading out to out local ATV park until Wednesday. We volunteered to help prepare for their big New Year's event they have planned. We'll be out of there before all the people begin arriving on Thursday. Just making sure trails are clear, tables are set at camp sights and trash is empty and new bags put in. Lots of standing around the fire and consuming anti-freeze... Southern Alabama style. 
I chose the GAMO Urban and 30 minute bottle for this trip.

LOL. I can actually picture that.  I visualizing RAMBO trying to drag you by your collar back to the RV after passing out by the campfire from consuming too much "antifreeze". LOL

Anyways.... working down through my mental list....
Trailer repositioned with the truck.
RV moved and hitched to the trailer. 32' RV and 16' trailer is kinda like playing Rubics Cube to get all hitched up and loaded and headed out the driveway.
ATVs loaded and secured.
Barn/shop secured.
Security cameras checked.
Now to load the essentials into the RV then shower and hit the road.
One stop to fuel everything up on the way.
