My plans will include getting pepper all cleaned up and ready to meet the family later today,  I've got my work cut out for me because she has proven once already that she hates baths.
Hopefully I can get her used to it because she gets big enough to be a real problem

Merry Christmas to all, up at 3:00 a.m. est, in stand 6:00 a.m., out of stand(frozen) 10:00 a.m. Finish covering the fruit trees for the freeze tonight. Cover up the chickens. Pick fruit that won't make it tonight and juice. Hoping to get back in the stand this after noon.  27 deg this morning with skin ice everywhere, 40 deg and blowing a gale right now.  Gotta love Florida weather.

Might paint my 2260 stock today with Duplicolor Sandstorm bedliner paint 

Too cold though, so I need to make preparations like immersing the aerosol can in hot water and blasting the stock with a heat gun

Wow, i managed to sleep till 5:00am. First time in months.
I'm looking forward to leftovers and shooting two air rifles today.  First get the scope sighted in on the RWS-460. I had swapped the scope mount because the first one was creeping rearward.  Second, shoot the HW50 more without a scope. Although my eyesight is not the best for open sighrs and has limited me to <25 yds it is still fun.

Good morning GTA! I slept in til 5 also, I stayed up til 10 last night. I was stuffed and we played a new game Ayrabella got for Christmas. We usually get some silly game every year to play as a family. This one was called Hedbanz and we had fun. Today is Ayrabella’s birthday and it’s like Christmas all over again.

The dogs let me sleep in until seven.  We’ve been out chasing squirrels since eight.  Today is the first day of the two week small game season in the St. Marks NWR.  I’m going to hunt to the zone behind my homestead!  Now the problem is deciding which air gun to carry.

Nah.  I have not hunted the NWR before but I know that it is mostly mesic flatwoods with lots of Long Leaf and palmetto, spotted with little islands of turkey oaks.  Today I’m hunting for quail which make an excellent blowgun target but I’ve hunted them before with a blowgun without much success.  i’m Leaning toward my recently chopped and bobbed Winchester 1100.  It is flat shooting and can reach out past 25 yards if I need to.

+1, it is Ayrabella’s birthday... but it is supposed to be 60* today. If I can’t convince her to shoot with me, I’ll get an hour or so in by myself. She’s got plenty of stuff to play with & that’s OK. Monday I have to get back to work and it’ll be cold again.

I intend to sand it a bit after 2 weeks and give it one final blast.

I put it in the laundry room, hanging inside the heating generator compartment, so she is now very dry

Sunday, 12/27/20. This is the last Sunday of 2020. I woke up at 3:15 am cst this morning. Fixed some breakfast and coffee.  I packaged the Hammers 3-9x40ao  scope to return for warranty repairs or replacement.  I notified Hammers via email and will await their instructions.

Today I plan to shoot my Walther Parrus 22 today. I'm going to compare the velocities with the RWS-460. 

Still waiting for the scope for the HW50.

I’m up, got up at 0500 CST. The past 2 days have been a whirlwind, as it always is, albeit different but very, very good. I think we’ll all stay home and I’ll put our Ch::ch service up on the big screen in the living room via Facebook this morning and then we’ll all pitch in & help clean up. It’s ridiculously windy already and supposed to be all day.

What a glorious morning it is here. Sun rise on a calm crisp clear morning... I have been up since 5:00 and the Dog and I have already have been to town and back.
 2 Grand Daughters woke up here in their P.J.s at 7:00.
Some one needs to bottle their energy!!!

Ground WAS bare yesterday. Snowed over night, and still coming down.  3-4" so far. 
 Will be watching the tube/ movies..   no projects..
