Are you happy with that camera's night vision? Any delays in phone alerts or are they near instant as advertised?

Sunday morning.  Slept good last night managed to stay in bed till 04:35.

Forecast call for rain this afternoon,  another delay in shooting my D460.  Yesterday afternoon would have been perfect,  near 70°, zero wind, sun shining but with a headache what fun would that have been.

Good Morning All. Ratting and reading this morning, as usual.

I checked out early last night and didn't look at GTA. The night vision is quite good but I have a red LED overhead so it doesn't matter. The time from me waving my hand in front of the camera, and receiving an alert on my Android,phone, is under 4sec and closer to 2 sometimes. I got a $20 wifi booster, point of access, and placed it outside closer to the cam and that is all working great.

It's all about wifi proximity. Our modem / router is in the far back bedroom of the house because that's typically our office so it wasn't ideal for the front or backyard. When motion is detected is has to continue for x number of seconds for a device to record a 10sec video. I delete those daily.

Yes Lt. Dan I was shocked and laughing. Still chuckling a bit. Waiting on the buggers right now. Wife hid the chocolate chips apparently she's on to my ways. I'll get a bag of them and hide 'em.

Honestly I worked hard at getting it but got lucky. I'll rotate the camera direction by maybe 10 or 15 degrees CW to get the stage right action.

Zero scope I just mounted on my BAM .22 B3-1 AK.

Install a different piston in my I.B. B3-1 so I can install a leather seal. Has plastic now. While in there might as well replace the main spring, sear, sear spring and breach seal.

Grind down the piston seal a little then reassemble my B20.

Maybe I'll get done.

Got in late from our Barn Meeting, then couldn’t fall asleep right away. But once I did fall asleep, I was in a food induced coma until 0700. I have to drop my wife at Church at 0745 (she’s singing today), go back home to get the girls  & back to the Church at 0945. Cant believe I slept til 0700! I never do that. Supposed to get a couple inches of snow today. We’ll see.

No, one is a carpenter, one is a detective and two work for a trucking company. They did help me when they were younger and still lived at home tho.

Woke up, started a pot of coffee, did some push ups and sit ups.  Now I'm easing into the morning with a cup of black coffee while my daughter just now comes to tell me that there is zucchini bread to be had!  Hang on......

Now I'm chomping on Z bread AND sipping Java.

Plans for the day?

Church (streaming).  We are trying to minimize our exposure to the possibility of C-19.  My FIL had a heart attack, bypass surgery, blood clots in heart arteries, stints in his mid 80s and isn't doing the best.  Michele goes over to help and we really don't want to take anything to them so we are hiding out as much as we can.

At home I'll probably work on cutting boards today and hopefully get to either work on some airguns or shoot some or both.
