My Customized Shooting chair

I did a modification to my Summit shooting chair to make shooting Rats easier, I built a extension arm for a Primos trigger stick out of 1-1/4"x 1/8 Square tube Aluminum and 1/16 flat sheet aluminum for the joints secured with 5/16" x 3/4" drill tip tek screws, and used U bolts to hold it on the base of the chair, so it swivels 360* with the chair, and I made it so it's easy to get out of the chair with out having to climb over it..... it works great, the Trigger stick is the 3 section one, it allows a lot of adjustment for low to high shots, and adjusts with a pull of the finger.

I'm going to test it out Wednesday night at the permission....

Very neat Idea, and I like the way the front rest swings with the chair,
What is the distance from the from of the chain/seat edge to the upright section of the front rest?

I was planning on setting up a shooting chair also but your Idea seems very good to me,
I may just copy it....if your don't mind..........

A side photo to show the spacing/angle of the front rest would also help.............

OK Don, now this one I built for myself, I'm a big guy with long arms so you might do some adjustments to fit you better, you can change the angle of the joints or shorten some pieces, I left the main tongue long so I can adjust it in or out through the U-bolts, I think I used 1-3/4" or 2" U-bolts with large fender washers and wing nuts.

I too am a long armed, take a 14-1/2" pull on rifles,
and I am starting to be a heavy weight @ 6' @ 215 #'s now.......LOL, was 195#'s before............

Have been fighting a kidney/bladder infection since Dec last yr, they can't seen to figure out the problem...........
