My local Wal-Mart has the Daisy 35 marked down to $34.95. It's the black one, not the camo stock. Bargin, yes or no? Decent rifle worth the money or pass on it?

It's cheaper at PA but by the time you pay shipping, it may be a wash.

I think it would make a good bb-shooter But if you want to shoot pellets get a gun with a rifled barrel. The 35 is a smoothbore but the dasiy guns seem to shoot the dasiy zinc pretty good. Good value for bb-shooter. Also the trigger will get alittle better with lot of use.

Is the Walmart version a different grade than the one sold by Pyramyd?  I thought a lot of Walmarts stock of any product were special made for them only, to shave off quality for a lower price that would be unoticed by the customer.  But results in in breaking earlier/easier than if you had bought it elsewhere.

Actually, many manufacturers try to insure quality at a higher level for the mass-retailers like Walmart. Why? Because, where PA or other smaller stores may send back or return items one by one or 5 at a at a time, stores like Walmart tend to stockpile returns in bins and send them back en-masse. Makes sense, since a typical defect or problem could show up in 1000's of units at Walmart.
