you usually can loosen the endcap, adjust the objective lens and re tighten. ive done this on several of my fixed scopes.

Optics Planet and a couple of othersites say the TAS TRF2732 is an AO scope; but, Midways ad doesn't confirm that.

Just to add a little further to the confusion
If you go to the Tasco website and look up the AR 2-7x32AO the specifications lists the parallax at 100 yards

Me, I'm very happy with my Hawke 2-7x32AO
For a little more money, it's a  very good scope with a much better reticle

And, unfortunately ...   the TRF2732 is not an AO. The TRF2732  is the one Midway is selling. That was a good idea, looking at the resources for the manuals. I wish I had thought of that.

Yes, a 50-yard parallax is not the best for an airgun.

Even the 35-yard parallax fixed-power UTG/Leapers 4x32 scope is kind of funky at 25 yards---had one a long time ago.

I have noticed though that LPVO scopes (due to their small objective bell) even with a 100-yard parallax, are very forgiving at less than 10 feet away on 2x - 3x mag.

I shot (.22 caliber) this group at 25 yards (5 shots) using 1-4x20 scope set at 4x:

I was looking around pricing the Tasco TAR2732. It's roughly twice the price at $48.69 at Amazon and a few other retaliers. It's slightly heavier than the TRF 2732 by almost a quarter pound at 14.7 ozs.

I had been using a Daisy/Winchester 2-7x32AO on my .22 Backpacker. Liked it fine. Crosshairs were a tad invisible when shooting in near dark/twilight was its only fault. .Unfortunately, it developed retical shadow of the horizontal reticle and I have been unable to find a fix for it.

This website was somewhat less than helpful.

Edit: Whoops. I can't believe it. I was fiddling w/ the scope again and I fixed it. Retical shadow is gone. Of course I have no idea where it is going to be shooting now. Wouldn't surprise me by the time I sight it in again, the retical shadow will be back.
