Sticky LGV trigger and how I fixed it.

It turns out the trigger on my LGV was getting stuck. I hadn't realized this till I tried installing an after-market trigger. The after-market trigger, which I'm sure many of you can recognize from the picture, is just fine. So, if you buy one, you can trust it. All it did was reveal that the clamshell of my trigger housing was pinching on the trigger.
When I disassembled the clamshell, I noticed the two screws that were holding it together were loose. I thought it was odd but put it out of mind, for awhile. That ended up being an important clue later on. When I put the after-market trigger in, I firmly tightened down those screws, assembled the gun and all that, and the trigger would hardly budge. Not what I was expecting. I took it apart and reassembled it a bunch of times and always got the same result; at first, I figured I didn't assemble it correctly. So, I put the OEM trigger back in, tightened those screws down, and the OEM trigger also wouldn't budge. Ok, this is weird I thought. Its not the after-market trigger for sure. What else could be going on here?
While I was at work and having my thoughts distracted by this trigger at home, I had a thought- those screws were loose when I first disassembled it. So what if I used a c-clamp to exaggerate the pressure the trigger shell placed against the trigger? When I got home, I did just that. The trigger seized up to where it was almost unmovable. I wiggled the trigger back and forth hoping to get some wear marks to indicate where exactly the shell was pinching against the trigger. When I then opened up the shell, sure enough there were wear marks in 3 different locations. 2 of them were on the shell and one was on the trigger. The anodize coatings aren't real thick; so the wear marks were rather plain to see. I took a dremel to those spots and removed about 0.1mm from them. Those spots are quite easy to see in the picture- look for the bare metal surrounded by red ovals. I put the trigger group back and gun back together and its all working fine now. I can tighten up the screws holding the shell together like I should be able to.
I hope my experience can help others who may also be having a tight sticky trigger. The clamshell may be pinching it. The fix is easy.

Invert the argument, does it still make sense? If it doesn't find a new argument.

Eric Pianori's triggers are very good. I like the one with the ball you see in the pic.
His prices are good; so its not a bad idea to get a couple different ones if you're like me and couldn't decide on just one to get.
If you have issues with the clam shell pinching the trigger, I hope my experience helps you find what to look for.
I sent my trigger group to Eric to have it stoned and polished. I should be getting it back any day now. Can't wait!
