JSAR/AGPS SS Valve Now Just A Normal Balance Valve

I received my SS valve a few days ago and immediately saw it didn't have a COBRA port on the front.  I took it apart and it's just a normal balance valve... no COBRA chamber or fancy poppet head.  Honestly I don't care that it's no longer the old design, I just wish they'd update the website to reflect it's not the old design most people would be familiar with if they researched it.  I was super excited they were back in stock as I hadn't been able to get one when they first came out but was really disappointed that it wasn't what I expected.  The irony is I'd have still bought it as a normal balance valve had they been clear about it, but now I'm feeling a little bitter because I didn't get what I thought I was getting.  Sorry my first post is an angry rant but I feel like for the money they charge they can at least update their website. The MDS hammer has also changed to the raptor style inset striker and they don't update the product page for that either.  Somehow changing the whole design of the valve and not saying anything feels worse to me though (having been surprised by the new style hammer a few months ago).

best of my knowledge the SS-1 version ( 2 stage poppet w/cobra ) was discontinued for the much improved SS-2 @ 2+years or so ago.

No idea who is manufacturing these now ? ... being JSAR "Was" putting all efforts into RAPTOR manufacturing 2019/2020

Sorry I didn't know how much to say about specific manufactures because of the rules and being new here.  I know JSAR does not make these any more and the production has been moved to Airgun Pro Shop which is where I bought it from.  I didn't know they'd changed earlier, I knew there were issues with the Cobra stuff but I figured people just either dealt with it or didn't.  This is less about the valve itself and more my frustration with AGPS but I didn't want to come right out and criticize them like I said.  Either way they still show an older housing for the SS valve and an older design for the MDS hammer.  JSAR designs great stuff but they've moved on and I understand that so please don't think I'm criticizing them, and I didn't know they'd changed the valve earlier, so thanks for letting me know.  On a side note, if you know anyone who has one of the old style valves and is looking to get rid of it I'll buy it off them.
