Yea Rob.. Ur buddy addin his 2 cents would be nice...& i hear ya about FPE...I've noticed the same from what I've seen...For the price they're very interesting...I want it for a hog gun.(30//60 lb sows)..My longest shot where i hunt wud be under 50..and 90% 20/30....VERY dense palmetto thicket..Over grown with red & swamp oaks....A little peninsula you get to by boat...Throw out some corn & its on...LOL
I have the AEA HP Varmint .25 Built like a tank, more accurate than I am... I did do the trigger spring mod, and stone the sear and trigger parts. That helped the heavy trigger a lot, and the more I shoot it, the more the trigger wears in, and the more I get used to it.Im getting 67 FPE with 27gr pellets (1065 fps avg), and 74 FPE (990 avg) with the JSB King Heavies 33.9 gr. Have adjusted nothing in the power train.....Not reg’d, and nothing commercially available yet. Ive seen one guy that did a retrofit of a reg to one of the AEA rifles. Ill have to find it and post it.
