I wasn't thinking of using Google Earth as GPS coordinates.... Using the distance function in our area would be worthless, the resolution is just not there.... You can barely make out our house in the overhead view.... YMMV....

Sorry that I misunderstood you Bob, I just wasn't sure if my choice of words left anyone with the wrong impression. In my area the resolution is pretty good, I will verify with Marty if it is acceptable before I use it... Thank you Bob, I appreciate everyone's time and thought in their replies,

Im using just reticle to ranging. Its accurate atleast 600 yards, so enough accurate for PCP.
For verify picture thru scope is not easy but possible.
There is also app:s do it and they do lot more (attachment)

FWIW:
I have found a number of the ranges on which I shot Service Rifle matches, and the firing lines at 200, 300, and 600 are fairly easy to see on Google Maps, along with the target frames in the pits. I was pretty amazed that every one of them was within a yard or two when checking the 600 yard distance, and the shooter lines were usually dead-on for that distance. Even the ranges that have 1000 yard firing lines are +/- 2 yards.
I'd say that on hilly terrain, if you could resolve the firing point and target point using Google Maps, you'd be just as accurate as the other methods used on flat ground.

I have a rangefinder that I bought off Amazon for $70. It hangs right with my buddy's Leupold, so I know it's pretty accurate. The problem I have is lining up the target, the rangefinder, and my phone camera. It's dang near impossible.

The ancient Egyptians used knotted strings to build the pyramids, they're pretty accurate.
I built a knotted string kit just to mark off distances for practice. I had several colors of braided seine line. I put 10 yards white, 10 yards orange, white, yellow, etc. I put this on a kite string spool. A fishing rod and reel was mentioned earlier with knotted line. I didn't think of using a fishing reel.

Figure out how to range with your optic. Figure out the measurements and go from there.

Whew! Old thread resurrection here...
I've already made the NUAH membership; I ended up using Google Earth to verify my range-I sent Marty2 (moderator of this gate at the time) a screenshot of it mapped out; so he could decide whether or not the resolution was acceptable (he did). I also added a couple extra yards; just to be sure.
Thanks for the extra responses/ideas though; this thread could still be helpful to other folks
