Chinese junk
Frank sir, I based my observation on the Chinese SPA pistol one of my friends own.No, I do not own a pistol that is made in China, as I would rather build them and support American craftsmen; i.e., Don Cothran, Vernon Austin, Steve Corcoran, etc.. Here are PCP pistols I am currently building:The 2nd one will sport a Steve C. grip/forearm set.I am a big fan of Crosmans, btw: My apologies if my statement appeared to you as an insult.

Lot of Crosman builds....but to make a really nice one, really have to consider them a "kit". Can get away with that by a lot of DIY work and an ample supply of parts (both factory and aftermarket).Beeman suffers from lack of parts/support....but the orginal China-parts are generally better finished. Makes it MORE of a DIY project,as you have to be able to MAKE parts rather than buy them.Unlike the Beeman of the distant past...THIS Beeman relies on low price to sell it's PCP's.So (without a shread of prooof as I've no data from any one who has actually held one/shot one) this one will probably also rely on pricing for a repeater PCP pistol. Also without a shread of first-hand-proof (just eyeballing the photo) ,suspect it is bigger pistol that it seems ....either than,or they expect really small handed folks to buy it.
