Saw this on the bay and it looked so good, came today and it was almost as new. Love the elm on this cause the grain could pass for walnut. I also liked as a collector it was a early model with through safety. One cartridge, cap with rod. The date code is 60, June of 1960. Has to be one of the first of the new stocks? I know that Sears got these new stocks first. So this shows that the new stock came before the new trigger system. DT Fletcher says in his book that a chronology of the Sears models is not really known? Curious if anyone has one like this that is earlier? Awesome put a CO2 cartridge in and it held gas. 2 power settings, full power sounded like a 22. Stopped a backyard chrony session quickly!
