Eunjin pellets in 392Pa

I bought the 28.5 domed and 32.4 pointed pellets to try in my 392PA . They are branded Seneca now but are the same as the old Eunjin brand .
I had better results with the 28.5 . Oddly enough they made slightly more FPE than the 32 grain in both of my 392’s. Don’t know why ?
The domed ones are as accurate as any pellets I have tried. Maybe the best.
I shot the GTA 30 yard target with one of my 392’s. Looks like a 173 score. I thought that was pretty fair for a 392 type gun novice. Room for improvement.
These pellets are oversize to just fit the larger 392 bore.
Sure did make some power at 657 fps for 27 fpe on 8 pumps.

That’s exactly what i’m hoping for ( 26 to 30 ft. lbs. from 28 to 30 gr. Pellets or slugs) once my 392 gets back from steroid treatment.

You should be right around there. The 28 grain is more accurate and makes more power for me. I don’t think a stock 392 has enough power to use these.

Several years ago I saw a post ( somewhere) showing “I think” 495 FPS. With a stock 392 and a 28 gr. Eun Jin. chronoed.

It’s amazing to me what some of you guys can make these pumpers do.
I’ll probably shoot my steroid on 6 pumps most of the time, but you can bet i’ll be finding out what it will do on top end with heavy pellets.

Is the trajectory of the heavy pellets at max pumps anywhere near the trajectory of say a 14.3 or 16 gr. Pellet at 25 to 30 yds. On lesser pumps of around say 6 to 8 pumps in your 392 with the rifle sighted in for the lighter pellets?

It was sighted in for 15.9 jsb at 6 pumps. The point of aim vertically was very close but to the left with eunjin. There may be something to this left , I need to investigate more. Possibly cant the scope to compensate.
I the end, I will put this gun back on the lighter pellets at 5 pumps or so and use the Eunjin in my other higher power 392.
For your new Steroid, I think I would always pump it 8 or more.

Charles, not only do the 28 & 32g Eun Jins work great in my RS-I, but also in my Steroided 342 & stock 342. Like Timmy McMurray said a while back, "Heavy & slow."

I was hoping the trajectories would be close doing it that way.
That’s one of the advantages with a msp to me.
