Thanks for all of the replies fellas, I think Hector answered my question and I believe the mount will work fine. My rifle definitely needs the droop compensation mount. As an experiment I mounted a scope on the rifle using a standard Leapers base that my buddy let me borrow and it was shooting 8 inches low at 20 feet As a side note I purchased two of the Leapers UTG 4x32 A/O scopes and the one I have mounted on my 350 is very clear and is holding its zero after several shooting sessions. These scopes seem quite solidly built and are very reasonably priced, I paid $38.00 for one of them at Optics Planet. I'm not a big fan of variable power scopes and 4X is more than enough magnification for the ranges I plan on shooting. In addition to this I believe fixed power scopes are inherently more durable due to their fewer moving parts. Thanks again guys, Wes
