Haven't posted in a while, life happened. I've got a springer dual cal that I would like to start shooting again. Can a springer be shot in a lead sled that is made for firearms? Thanks in advance lost...

Sure it can be shot from a sled.
But don't expect any accuracy from a springer shot with a two-point rest or in a fixed rest like the lead sled.
Any search will provide this information because it is common knowledge.

Not familiar with the lead sled, but I do shoot from a sandbag. I place an open hand under the forearm, between the sandbag and forestock. The rear stock is not rested on anything, other than being barely against my shoulder. I can say this works, I can get good groups and if sighted in like this POI doesn't change when I move away from the bench. But this is basically a very minor variation of the traditional artillery hold, if its variation at all.
