Quiet enough for a neighborhood is determined by the neighborhood. You may wish to check into the legality issues for your town.
Looking for some advice that I’m sure many of you have experience with. My son wants to get into airgun hunting, so I’d like to get him a springer he can practice with in the back yard. Will something like a XS12, or HW30 be quiet enough for a neighborhood? I currently have a .22 Disco with a LDC, and it’s borderline to loud.
Ed, my R7 is extremely quite. I don't think my neighbors ever hear me shooting. It's about a 75' on either side of my house. One of my neighbors would definitely be over asking questions if he could hear me

The full tune by Mike is recommended. Call and talk to him. See link below.http://flyingdragonairrifles.org/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=67
