I have never tried cowboy action, but I have a Colt single action army that I really like. Its inly 2.75 FPE but very accurate. Be sure to get the one that says pellet only, that one has a rifled barrel. If you get the one that says pellet or BB, then it's smooth bore.Hunter

Okay, the Colt SAA you've mentioned sounds good. One question for the model: while I'm continually pulling the trigger, would the chamber rotate as I'm pulling back the hammer with my other hand?

I think Pyramyd has a new “build your own” where you can put any of the available components together and I thought I even saw a fanning hammer option.
I have a the Limited Edition Duke colt with holster that would be perfect for Cowboy action shooting.
