Scope mount recommendation for HW 30?

Wondering which brand and model of scope mount you would recommend for an HW 30. I've read a one piece mount on springers makes sense. Not sure if its much or any concern for this mild mannered rifle.
I'll be ordering through Airguns of Arizona. If you can make specific suggestions which they sell, it would be great.
Best regards, Skychief.

I don't know what particular scope you might have in mind. What I put on my HW30 is a UTG 3-12x32 Bugbuster with side focus and I used the two piece set of rings that came with it. This particular scope works nicely for me on this rifle.
The recommendation for one piece mounts is usually because of a frequent need to deal with barrel droop on a break barrel rifle. I did not find barrel droop to be an issue with my HW30. There are one piece mounts that have droop compensation built in such as the UTG DNT06 or the Diana ZR mount. Single piece mounts that don't have built in compensation can be shimmed. You don't want to be shimming a ring on a two piece mount. It misaligns the rings.
Like I said my HW30 has had no droop issues or any recoil issues. If you have any concerns about recoil bothering your scope the Diana ZR mount is the way to go. With it you can even use non airgun rated scopes. But the ZR mount is considerably more expensive.

Thanks much Bill for the reply. Still learning on this end. I'd planned to get a Hawke Air Max scope. Will look into a bugbuster too. Have you been pleased with that scope? How clear is the glass?
Hopefully I'm not inviting too much thread drift here. Any more opinions regarding mounts appreciated.
Best regards, Skychief.

I have been very happy with the Bugbuster. I put a wheel on the side focus knob. I can't complain about the clarity. I guess the only thing I would change is the 32 mm objective bell. It restricts the field of view. But the scope is very ruggedly built. It will easily stand up to an HW30 recoil.

All of my scoped Weihrauch's (including two HW30's) sport Nikon EFR 3-9x40AO's. I used to use the medium UTG mounts (two piece) until Bayman turned me on to the Sportsmatch T04C's. They're also medium height, two piece, but they are of just a slightly better quality then the UTG's. They look nicer and the screws fit and adjust better. Not knocking the UTG's, just that the Sportsmatch are nicer.
If you're budget allows it, I'd go with these. Note these are for 1 inch scopes.

My grandsons' HW30 and R7 sport one-piece mounts and 4x Hawke Vantage AO scopes. I just happened to have the pair of mounts laying idle, so this is where they got used... one is a UTG the other an RWS. As others have mentioned, these guns don't have much recoil, a decent set of rings securely mounted will likely do everything you need.

I used to use one-piece mounts on all my air guns, both for the tilt adjustment and for the built in recoil stops. But today there’s a big selection of scope rings with built in recoil stop pins, and excessive barrel drop seems to be less common.

That rifle shouldn't recoil enough to be worried about heavy duty rings. I've used UTG rings with no issues even on my R1.
But...i have had issues with Bug Busters...too short of a focal plane for consistent accuracy. I now use as long of a scope as will fit on a given rifle. For me. Thats a 15" UTG. If that won't fit, then I'll go to their 11" Mini scope. If you don't like the UTG line, then i suggest the longer scope of the brand you like.
That said, the longer scopes might add bulk and weight to a smaller rifle.

I have a Beeman SS2 on my HW30, I built a stop into the existing base. If I was going to use a conventional scope I would use a BKL mount. I did use Sports Match almost exclusively for a couple of decades, then switched after my first BKL. The one-piece mounts with the six clamping screws don't creep on my springers, no need for a pin or stop.

Nikon Prostaff 3-9 EFR on our laminate HW30 and Sportsmatch rings. Great optics, perfect combo for that rifle. Our other HW30 wears a Williams peep, so we have both kinds of shooting covered.
