Protecting Barrel Tip

Probably everyone stands their gun up by leaning it in a corner or against something, I know I do. This always makes me concerned that I may mark the barrel (or a wall inside), depending on what I'm leaning it against. But I've found a solution to that concern, a protective tip for my barrel. OK, so I'm anal about protecting my gun's finish.
This came about after I got one of those little Chinese chronographs for my Synrod's tuning, as it clamps onto the end of the barrel and I was concerned about it marking the barrel end. As the tuning meant putting the chrony on and taking it off often, I found a solution that allowed me to both protect my barrel's finish as well as not having to fool with the screws on the chrony's clamp. It was later when harassing Starlings I found the same protective sleeve eliminated my concern for where I stood the rifle.
It's called a finger sleeve. I had never heard of them until my wife got some (for some reason, that never worked). This is what I'm talking about:
My gun is all black so it's both contextually invisible as well as having no effect on the rifle's accuracy. It stretches to fit about any barrel (I have it slightly forward so it covers the edge), maybe not gadgets on the end like moderators although it fits my RWS barrel weight just fine. It's really stretchy.
I looked for a Tips section to post this in but didn't find one. So here it is.

Those might be nice to wear while I'm running the weedeater. My fingers go numb after running the weedeater for a couple hours.
