Nick, I'm in the same boat looking for a high end 10 meter rifle, I think most places are out of stock on a lot of models from across the pond right now because of the election virus. Champions Choice is the largest place in the US , you might try Krale in the Netherlands as they get stuff shipped here faster than most US based firms and usually have a lot of stuff in stock?? GOOD luck!!
Marksman, you sound like me, an old fart. Anyway, I've owned Daisy, FWB 80, Walther LP3, Steyr LP10, and now Steyr LP2 Compact. I used to compete in the last century. All those pistols were very capable as are those listed in this thread. I bought the LP10 three years ago and it was the ultimate of all, but now approaching 80 and with little compettion events in the area I sold it. However, recently, I found an LP2 Compact for half the price of the LP10 and couldn't resist. I just use it to compete with myself in the basement. Buy whatever you can afford and enjoy.
Serious newbie-to-pistols question so please be kind...I find my Daisy 717 which has had a trigger mod to be very accurate. Definitely more accurate than me. At what point should I consider acquiring one of the pistols in this thread?thanks
a) when you are sure that you aren't the problem and your scores don't improve. That takes time to make shooting an instinct. orb) when you can't stand it anymore and have to have a nicer pistol!
