My stock Sheridan HB20
There is an easy trigger spring mod on these guns where you take the hair-spring off it's detente and let it relax forward.I know I have pic and explanation here somewhere on GTA but as of yet cannot search it out. If you want me to, I will take the grips off and show pics.

I'm sure you have done it or have seen it mentioned. Prepare for your mind to be blown if for some miracle you haven't done it or looked at the simple design. My H9A
.... Those spring ends you see sits on that ledge. This is what gives the trigger it's weight. Drop the one off the ledge and you'll only have some of the resistance of that spring. You can take spring out and bend it or get needle nose pliers and bend out the slight angle on the one you leave on that ledge.
Some may not know this, but there are 2 distinctly different versions of the nickel E model. The early one is completely nickel and the later ones have blued small parts including the rear sight.

Here are all three calibers.22 which has been tuned.20 all nickel .177 with blued parts and made in Racine
Here's an interesting one, supposedly an old Mac1 modification.Bulk fill, longer barrel on an E body, among other mods to it
Those were well made air pistols.
