July 22nd Hunt with my Xisico Sentry 705-9K shooting slugs

First thing that I did when I got out there on the state land was take a shot to see where I was hitting and it's way more accurate than I'll ever be when hunting.  I forgot to bring any of my pin up targets but I'll bring some the next time.  I've still got a couple of printed up target sheets that I haven't glued to card stock yet plus about 16 pinup targets all cut and ready to go. Anyway I did get one chipper while I was out there, didn't see a single tree squirrel at all, I was late to gate on this hunt.

Well... maybe..."Late to the Gate... but.... Better Late than Never" !    I am glad that you could get out again.

You did another good job on the Video, it was sure enjoyable.   

The woods around here, seem to be a lot thicker than what I see in your Video's  Around here they can be really hard to walk thru in places.

 It seems to me we have more ground foliage. Buckthorn, Sumac & Vines are growing all over under the Oaks, Ash and Pines.  Lots of Basswood trees too.  "Waite a Minute Vines" are what I call those nasty vines.  They are as bad as the Buckthorns are.

i have a 705 on order and is a couple weeks out according to Mr. Melick. my question is . . . i have a bunch of wheel weight lead - some of it is the old material and some is the new material - would this make for good slugs for the 705 or would it be too hard ??

Thanks Tom, Chuck and Dave !!!  Chuck wheel weights are a bad idea for small caliber airguns, I personally only use pure lead myself.
