Doorbell cam had been chiming all night with this big boy zooming in and out as I watched on the live feed from the doorbell cam but he never stayed long enough for me to even try and get a shot until right after 2:30 am.....chime went off as I watched him ltake his time eating so I hurriedly got out of bed cobwebs still in my head but managed to single load the Rapid, turned on the scopes IR, placed on y-yoke and placed it’s dot on his heart and pulled the trigger....thwack...down he went in a heap. Ok..another push notification as type this and there is another one! LOL....got his buddy...another big boy, both @ 16”. This one was facing me eating and I had placed the crosshairs on his forehead and when I pulled the trigger, he must have dipped his head to get a bite and the pill went thru his spine DRT. This second one looks much older with tattered ears and tail. Haven’t had a double in awhile.

Envious in Oregon.

Those back of the head spine shots from the front top are wicked. When I've had those it was definitely LIGHTS OUT RIGHT NOW. The 'computer' is still working, maybe, but the motor is shut down.

Great shots Randall!  Nothing more satisfying that a twofer!  I admire your dedication and perseverance!  I don't think I could drag myself out of bed at 2:30 in the morning, no matter how many rats were raiding the feed station!

Johnny, LOL true true and thank you very much! Yeah, those fuze box, spine shots are definitely the most lights out shot! Everything just shuts down immediately.
