Mrodair reliability?

I hope it is OK to ask general questions about vendors here. I heard some negative things about the seller mrodair but the person wasn’t really giving me any details when I asked - and I don’t know if it’s just a personal beef or if there’s actually an issue with this company. I hate to ask publicly, but I don’t know how else to find out and I don’t want to make a purchase that I regret. What I want to order will have to come from mrodair or overseas, rather support a us company of course assuming it is a decent business and run professionally. Thanks to you all.

I have tried to communicate with them in the past and never got a responce. I actually thought they went out of business cause their website hasn't changed in a long time. I would suggest communicating with the vendor and go off of that.

I emailed them several times a month or so ago and never go a response, I just gave up and found what I needed elsewhere.

I'll say this:
Everything I've ordered from him has shown up. Communication isn't too great, and you don't get a tracking number for your order. You do get a purchase confirmation though. I didn't feel the shipping time was overly long, so I never had to call to see about whether or not he had a tracking number. Take that with a grain of salt. I'm not saying people haven't had issues with him. I'm simply stating that
I
have never had any major issues with him.

I ordered a few things for a P-12 that I had picked up.
Never received a confirmation #, but the $$ came out of my account.
Called him for a while, left VM's, that were never returned.
Weeks turned into a couple months and I tried calling him all times of the day as was suggested by several people here that have had no issues with him, never returned or answered any of my calls.
Ended up going through my bank to get my money back.
The only real negative airgun related vendor I had to do that whole chargeback thing, but I gave him 3-4 months to make it right.
Bank paid me out in a matter of days.
Support to US business is one thing, but you're rolling the dice in ordering from this guy, but if you're cool with that, just make sure that your purchase is covered and that you have options to recover your $$ in case you have to.

So I’ve heard some mixed stuff here and will reserve judgment. I did hear back from them quickly after emailing, which is a good sign. On the other hand they are out of stock of the gun I want in spite of the fact that their website says it is in stock (and directs you to actually ordering one).

Liked the flowers so much that I gave my wife a bouquet of them. She was thrilled!

He has always said that if the website lets you put the item in your shopping cart then it is in stock.
I've always got what I ordered but never got a tracking number. Communication is slow at best. I've had phone calls and emails both answered and not.
As for now and going forward, I do all my online business through Paypal linked to a separate bank account where I only transfer enough funds to cover an intended purchase.
My bank covers me, paypal covers me and in the event it gets hacked, I won't loose the farm.
As a matter of fact.... I just went through a deal not long ago with an order I placed for some RV stuff. Took 30 days but I got my money back in full via Paypal.

Also.... if you link Paypal to a bank account like I set up, you never pay fees.... and that includes F&F.

His BBB(Better Business Bureau)rating says it all.
I concur because of my personal experience from dealing with him.
Shows very little consistency with customer service. He's either on or off his game.
