my thoughts are just strip and reseal and whilst many have had good results with the alcahol flush for the time it takes to pull the valve and fit new seals it's a no brainer for me and you know it's fixed for another 20yrs

Over at the PA blog, Tom Gaylord has used automatic transmission leak sealer successfully many times. It softens the seals and can make them work better. Of course, if it needs a rebuild real bad,.. then nothing is going to work other than a rebuild.
I have planned on resealing it, just have to find the best option, seeing that the tool alone is almost 50 clams, I hope I can find a better option.PA doesn't have any in stock and still searching...............
I suppose there’s only so much the alcohol flush can do. I’d try this method if I could find some alcohol, but it seems to be unobtanium right now.
