how many useable shots do you think a prod is capable of if tuned  to 600 fps in .177 cal?  looking for a good sparrow gun. 30 yds

A bunch!  My .22 Bstaley mod gets 24 shots at 730.  When I was messing with tunes I found some mega-quiet tunes in the mid-500's with 14.3 gr pellets close to 40 shots in 3%ES.

More than you'd need for an afternoon of shooting. 

Never turned down my 1720t down that far. But with reg set at 90 bar, I get around 45 shots at 800 fps with 8.4 grain jsb's.  At 600 fps with a light wad cutter, I'd bet close to 70 shots or better.

This is how I tuned my 22 Marauder pistol using a 4 113 o-ring bstaley hammer buffer.

Earlier this week, I dropped the power just a little to get a shot string between 580 up to 610 then back down to 580.  I filled to 3000 psi, shot 6 magazines of 14.3 grain CPHP pellets (8 pellets per magazine) at small birds (starlings, pigeons, sparrows) with gun zeroed at 31 yards.  Power was dropping off in the 6th magazine, but I still killed birds.  A few of the birds required a second shot and a few flew off even after a hit.

If you convert it to 177 and tune for 600 fps, you should get a lot more shots per fill.

As the P'rod is only sold in .22cal you'll have some work to do just to get it to .177
