They look good, what are you shooting them out of and what kind of velocities do you get with that bullet weight? Jeff

Somewhere, Warren Center is grinning ear to ear to know that his old muzzleloader slugs are finding a new home in a stump-buster airgun.

They are for my Gargoyle . Have not shot it yet . The bullets need to set for about 10 -15 days to harden back to 15 bhn . When I re-sized them it did remove the effect of the REAL muzzle loader bullet . Both outer bands are now .452 and the center is .451 . Marvin

Very cool marvin, i look forward to casting my own soon into the future. These would require resizing as well for your gargoyle but check out these 150 grain pellets from
www.biglube.com
bet your monster would throw those rascals pretty fast.. Jeff

Your right, it's to small to see. The mold is .454, supposedly perfect for the 909 and if it could be resized to .452 you could try it in the gargoyle. I just saw your other thread on your gun, the 150 gr. might be to light for the kind of power you're dealing with. If i read it right, your are getting 680ftlbs using a 22ogr.? Thats just under 1200fps. The 150 would be going to fast for cast lead bullets i think. I wonder if you'll have barrel leading issues with these fast bullets... you might have to experiment with the .300gr. and up molds to stay subsonic... or use jacketed rounds. Wish i had that quandry.. look forward to hearing what you find. J

I have not shot the rifle yet . Dan who made it said it was tuned with the EP valve to do 680fpe and I think he said it was around a 385 grain bullet . I have the standard valve in the rifle now which should do a R.B. around 1050 fps. Will get the scope on the rifle and take it out soon . Want to get some ammo made up first and aged . All so I am enjoying my 25 condor right now but it is about to get windy and put a stop to that . Then the big bores come out till it rains . I will post results when I get them .The rifle came with 3 valves which not many rifle makers will supply . Marvin
