I got one starling.JSB Exact sounds good for long range, no wind. Ground squirrels.I love .177 but the destruction of .22 is nice. The pellets seemed so HUGE. I like both.Happy Buying, Happy Shooting
Keep in mind that there is a trade-off between the two, and speed is not always your friend. Most pellets don't fly well at speeds over 875 fps and often destabilize, but test your rifle at range to be sure. Lighter pellets will fly a little flatter but will also wind drift more, a small increase in weight makes a huge difference as far as I'm concerned. If pesting the heavier weight pellets will have a lot more thump, will carry more energy and carry it further. Keep in mind too that your POI will shift for each pellet brand and weight you shoot, and it's not always just a vertical shift due to weight differences. I try to find the optimum pellet for my rifle, zero for it and have enough power that if I need to dispatch a pest I can do it with confidence.
Congrats! Very Fine Guns!!!Wish I still had the pic of a sign one home owner put in his front yard with an arrow pointing to his neighbors house. It read something like this. Attention Criminals. I am well armed, however, my neighbor does not believe gun rights or self defense. Enjoy! Knife
