So here I am in central NC where the biggest industry is golf, and the last CO2 filling station in the area has closed down - permanently.

So where can I get a 20oz. tank filled?

Try a fire extinguisher place................they might be able to help........

Welding supply fills my CO2 Cylinders. Only takes a few pieces of plumbing to make a fill assembly for the smaller bottles.

Some Dicks Sporting Goods stores fill CO2.

I was going to suggest Dicks as well.
How about Soft Drink Distributors? Ask the gal at the Gas station or your local "watering hole" who supplies the CO2 for their Fountain Soda machine.

Ask for the store manager, they can tell you who services their fountain setups...usually Coke or Pepsi. See if you have a Dival Fire Safety store in the area, they might be able to.

I used to get my Fills at the area PaintBall Complex.
I did a quick Google search for "Paintball North Carolina".... are any of these close to you?

Thanks for all the suggestions.
The local Dick's was the last place to quit offering the service.
The closest paintball place on the map is a good 45 minutes away.
But there is a bottling plant nearby and I think I know a guy who services fire extinguishers.
