AirForce Condor full length Moderator

Just finished a new full length moderator for the .22 Condor.
This one is not attached to the barrel with sets. The barrel is really semi floating like some others.
Vented at the back allowing the front support to allow air to flow back taking pressure loading off the moderator. Super Quite with much air flowing. Finished off with another different camo style. This gun is cranked up and amazingly quite. Attached to the frame.

Is this LDC lightweight?
The spiral camo will completely disappear in the shadows of the forrest.
What material did you use to construct the LDC?

Late response! Being this is A GRAY Area I am hesitant to post much about this. But I'll answer the best I can.

I prefer an aluminum housing. I do not recommend what I used or even attempting this. This will work using Sch 40 DWV PCV. Rated @ 370 psi 1 1/4.
Yes the can is baffled with 5 cambers.
Attached to the frame as the 24" barrel end cap factory is that allows the barrel to float.
On some I have attached to the barrel. AF and others do not recommend attaching to the barrel due to stress points that can result in a pinch of the bore. I have had no issues with the attaching to the barrel. AF barrel bushing if over tighten can result in the pinch also.

Delrin bushings are made to support the can. Some with a single bushing. This one has 2 which gives better support for the can and allows for a semi floating. The front bushing is drilled just a bit over the barrel OD and drilled with vents. Using the spacing of the 2 can attachments for rear venting. All of my AF guns are pushing much air and power.
Length is 14" same as the TT.
The ID is 1 3/8" +-. End cap is attached to the front solid. Flat BLK epoxy spray paint is used on the OD. SOME are completely wrapped with 3m 1080 graffic wrap or the 3D Camo.
Using the PVC you have to insure that your sets are not  real close to the ends and 4 attachments are used per set. I use to make the sets flush with the OD or set down a bit and then filled. Now I use headed sets. This gives the can a better set. Cosmetic is not near as nice looking as the flush or filled.

This may be deleted so you better copy it now.
Thin aluminum is the better choices.  If deleted I understand.

I have been making Schedule 40 PVC Moderators for Condors for several years now.

All are mounted in the frame in lieu of the front bushing.

I use Rustoleum Bed Liner in a rattle can for painting them after cutting grooves in the outer "can" for better looks.

Derived the design from an old paintball moderator circa 1990!


Green Scotchbrite for damping.


Lately I have converted a few to 1/2-20 UNF by turning down a lug nut to insert into the PVC that is then locked with set screws.


Remove the adapter and it is condor ready again.

Yes it's an old easy doable material. Al's have used sch 40 electrical gray conduite. Weight is not bad depending on the guts. Plus I prefer a little noise weight on the Condor. Makes for a more stable bench or free hand gun.

I posted this gun before that has a fully bedded Choate SKS stock. The . 25 after swapping from the . 20 indicated flex with the power level. It has the TT can on it right now.
This has a bottle support, wokguard, 2 tactical rails And the butt pad is part of the stock. Rock solid.

Also posted before is my Condor . 20 with the same material as the . 22 can but attached to the barrel. Both work great. All power set up guns. Accurate all at least 100 yards. All have a twist in dresses lol☠️

Thinking again outside the box one can make do with what you have. The lathe for me has always been a great tool.
The lathe and it's spinning works out for many other applications other that our sport. Even maintaining the lathe and other equipment and or even running a lawn mower. Making things that are not made or supposed to work per application.💀
