Dime Size Groups???
«
on:
September 01, 2011, 05:09:44 PM »
Joe (jonnnyboy) and I were chatting yesterday about folks bragging about dime size groups they shoot. Well, we decided to make a target for practice. So, here's a couple. Print out on standard 8.5X11" paper and it's actual dime size. Maybe he will post his here too.
Enjoy....
(revised picture)
Happy Shooting!!!!
Dave

Click on the picture and save it but there is another one attached as a .pdf document above. You have to click on it and save. It's Roosevelt dimes, not the expensive all silver Mercury ones.

Just a quick clarification: They're dime-sized if printed with no scaling (or 100% size). If you "fit to printable area" they're actually a bit smaller.
I'm going to print a few and see what's what.

I just tried both from this page. I selected print, print document on letter size paper, scale to fit and it was exact size.

Thanks Joe & Dave...never had a question that it wouldn't be perfect.
Jeremy, there are a lot of targets here on the GTA, that are perfect to scale for competition. Nothin' new in 'puterin' with this group.

**Insert disclaimer here**
I never specified WHAT range and WHAT you use to shoot with.
And Joe, it seems you had a good idea bro. Chime in here and add your target too.

LOLOL!!!
Dez and I were talking and it just occurred to me that I always try to compare my groups to a dime and so, VOILA!! Make a 'dime' target sheet and either put up or . . . well, you know.
Before I could even put thoughts to paper, Dez was already shooting me an email with his great target. He's too fast.
Let me see if I can figure out how to attach mine.
joe
PS. Did you notice Dez used those expensive dimes?
His target costs more than $3.50! Okay, click on the pdf file down below and give this target a try. Mine's not as expensive as Dez'.
