The images your browser are not rendering are coming through just fine on many other hardware/os/browser platforms so it "may" be on your end?

However, there is a difference in how the GTA site is linking those images. If the GTA webmasters can review the links below, they may be able to change how the last two photos are linked and then your hardware/os/browser problem may go away.

ALL images render fine on my old HP workstation with Xubuntu 18.04.4 and Firefox. The first four images are direct link jpeg images. It is obvious the last two images are provided through a php script which your system cannot access. It could be a php script that is incompatible with your system or a user rights issue. Webmasters on GTA should be able to determine what the actual problem is.

Michael, thanks for your reply.
Here is the thing: There are six pictures of our friend on the "HOME" page. The first four are just fine on my computer/site/server. But the last two [at the bottom] show only the message in my OP. In the past, I had received that message on the last two pictures and could clear it by cleaning my cookies and history. I have done that cleaning operation about five time over the last couple of weeks with no relief.
It is my thought that this an issue with GTA's programming or whatever. But I can't imagine how it is my server - 2/3 okay and 1/3 trash. I am just trying to get the powers that be to do something to make my friends' pictures appear. Like I said in another post, I think it is an INSULT to these gentlemen.
I am through with this now.

If it is not an obvious error in your php script, I suggest you just link the last 2 photos as jpegs and skip the php. Theoretically all browsers should work fine with your php, but for some reason it is causing a problem with some members systems. Best wishes :-)

Mike and I have the same problem and noted in both threads about this. The first 4 pics show up just fine, it's the last 2, hosted in a different file neither of us see. First screen shot is of the home page and you can see rstern above the "not connected to server image". Second screen shot is what I get when I clicked on either of mikeyb's above posted links: a second window that's nothing but a black screen with that goofy little note parked in the middle of the screen.
Yes, I've cleared cookies, history, cache, all the usual culprits. System is Win10, Google Chrome. Chimed in because it's not just him having the issue and wondering what's up.

This is very strange. What Win OS are you using Mike? I have 2 laptops and 1 tower here and can see the pics at the bottom with both Win7 and Win10, using Chrome and FF browsers.

Were you guys ever able to see the last 2 pics in the Home page? Sometimes the automatic Windows updates mess things up by changing something in the registry (a setting), but nevertheless it is still very puzzling and why it affects so very few and only some of the pics, but not others. Those are also the latest pics that were posted a while back. It is up to Curtis and the Admins I guess how how much time they want to spend on this out of their very busy schedule, because we are all out of ideas and we are not programmers or Windows experts..

In any case here is Scott's pic as I see Rocker's pic was already posted.

I am on a Mac and when using Safari browser I see David, but get the 'Sorry' for the last picture. I tried Firefox and the last two images are 'Sorry' and Opera gave the same two images 'Sorry".

clear your browser cache

and if your using a vpn, turn it off and try again.

those two teo are a failrly common issue here at gta

I've used resources like these in the past to check html & css files and php scripts. My efforts looked fine on my computer, but the pages got all messed up on other systems/browsers. Validating helped me find several simple errors I'd missed during development and fixed the multi-system rendering issues.

Probably seems silly to the webmaster pros, but maybe a tiny php syntax error is causing the pre-processor issue for those last 2 images?

I now do see all pictures unlike a week ago where I couldn't see the last two. Windows 10 and MS Edge.

I checked the main page and permission is set to everyone to view all content. I also recopied and pasted the last two photos. But the location still SEEMS to be the same as before, they are in my album in the Media Gate. The only other thing I can think of is if you are using a different layout or forum theme from the default theme. Every change to the forum software has to be applied to each individual theme. And it costs per theme to upgrade. I don't believe Travis can afford to keep all of the themes updated.
