On my 88gr that i ended up refilling, i used an on/off adapter to make that possible. The brass one you can still buy but the black one I think is not available anymore. Dan I used approx 600 psi of air to test the seal. It seems to have sealed well.  As you suggested the other seals failed right away. I’m glad I didn’t use that 88gram. Haha

I did notice GMAC had some random ones. I will check out your link.

I feel like the valve must be sealed to the tube. If so I bet disco o rings would work for that.

I over paid for this one on eBay recently but wanted it bad enough to do so. I had one 8 years ago and ended up selling it off. I think that the person before me hacked that one up if I remember correctly.

I know a guy who had one up for sale a while back if you want me to put you in contact?

The main reason I have not gotten one yet is I am a cheapskate looking for a deal and stubborn about it. LOL

Hi Melvin I have one of those and had to reseal it a year ago. I got an adapter off ebay that screws into the 88gr port and loads a 12gr bottle in the rear. It was great for testing for leaks and gets about 35/40 shots off of it. I bought it new, I still have the orig. 88 gr bottle and box that came with it. I collected seals and o-rings for it for years, the worst ones are the ones on the front to rear transfer tube. Good luck buddy. Geno

That’s where I believe the new leaks to be. I ordered on of those 88 to 12 gram adapters a few days ago. Waiting for it now.

So you happen to know what size the seals on the side are so I could order a couple?

Hi Melvin If I am remembering correctly I ended up using nylon washers on it at the tube fittings. I think they were a Lowes item and I heated all of the parts with a heat gun after loosely assembling them and then snugged them up hot. Geno

Hi Melvin, they had a seal kit for that gun? I dont think its been manufactured in twenty years. I got mine new at K-mart over twenty years ago. I guess I should get me a kit "Just In Case" I live forever. LOL Let me know how that works out please. Thanks Geno

He did have a kit for this gun. Think it was 26 bucks. I was surprised too so I threw a few questions at him to make sure it wasn’t just a 2250 kit. He knew what he was talking about and obviously knows more than I do about it.

Rick has been servicing ancient and modern Crosman's for a long time. He probably has more seal kits and parts than anyone could need. And reasonable prices too.

It seems to have worked fine. I will check pressure on it tomorrow to see if it’s still holding.
