Am thinking about getting one of theses.Can get for 340.00.Anyone have one and how do you like it.it will have stock with it also.Already have disco amnd .25 cal m-rod woth compressor so air not a problem.Hows the accuracy and hold? Thanks.

I love mine.  Nice, accurate carbine hunter.  Mine is a little pellet picky, most are, but mine love Beeman FTS pellets and will stack them on top of each other at 30 all day long.  Not hold sensitive at all, although the supplied carbine was a little uncomfortable for me so I replaced it with an AR-15 collapsible stock and now the little carbine really rocks  I get 30-35 good hunting shots with a 2800 psi fill.

The Prod makes a great little target gun or small game gun depending on your pleasure.  I'm very glad that I added one to my collection.  I'm patiently waiting for squirrel season to open here so I can let it loose on the local nutters.  During the summer I took it woodchuck hunting one day and managed to bag 2 nice woodchucks.  The superb accuracy let me put the pellet right into the sweet spot on both woodchucks with no problems at all.

I love mine fits in my back pack good shot count.
It's light so if you can stay relaxed it will shoot well.
Clean the barrel a lot or accuracy will suffer.

I love mine.  I am not the most experienced air rifle shooter. I have a Big Cat and Beninjum Titan so you know what i am comparing it to. The supplied stock not worthy I replace with the AR and love it now. Shoot one hole with polymags @20 yards.

I really like my Marauder Pistol Carbine.   I think it's one of
the best values in air rifles out there.   I have a number of
PCP's but the little P-Rod is my favorite back yard/back door sniper.
Light weight.  Excellent trigger.  Very accurate with it's
favorite pellet, the Beeman FTS.    The comb on the stock is
a little low for a scope, but is easily and cheaply modded
to solve that little problem.   Jim Gaska sells a small 3 inch
shroud extension that turns an already quiet gun into
a mouse farter.

What sort of FPE and shot strings are you guys getting with your PRods?.... Please include starting and ending pressures, velocity and pellet weight....

Finally pushed the button.Pistol should be here next week from walmart.Got a good deal just have to sit and wait now! ugh

It's amazing to me you can get these through Walmart. Our local pellet gun selection is limited to < 700 fps. Some of them are even high-powered guns that have been castrated and have a sticker added to the carton indicating this.

I'll be anxious to hear how you like the gun when you get it all set up.

What are you going to scope it with?

I modded mine a bit but I've managed to get:

25 FPE 8 shots 2700-1900 21.14 gr. Baracudas 710 fps
20 FPE 16 shots 2700-2000 21.14 gr. Baracudas 650 fps
15 FPE 24 shots 2900-2000 14.3 gr. Benji Dome  690 fps
12 FPE 32 shots 2500-1900 14.3 gr. Benji Dome 610 fps

That's just counting useful shots (within 2-3% or less) If you can live with more extreme spread you can add about 50% to those shot counts or a few more FPE with the same count.

Thanks for that info.... The total FPE trend is just about what I would expect.... 200 @ 25 FPE, 320 at 20 FPE, 360 @ 15 FPE and 384 FPE at 12 FPE.... a big drop off when you push past 20 FPE.... Incidently, I get 16 shots at 20 FPE (18.1 gr. JSB Heavies @ 700) with my PCP Grouse Gun shooting from 2000 psi down to 1100....

Hi Smaug.I know about the guns in IL being de-tuned so to speak for IL stores but you can but the low fps gun and change the springs and take bushings out,order new spring from crosman or who ever and you r back to the 1000fps gun for a fairly reasonable price.Beats driving around wasting gas and looking for one.The neighboring states sell same gun but one letter off in the model number so they shoot the 1000fps(well not really).I'm still on the buyers case to sell a few more brands on line as i believe they are starting to see more on line sales of air rifles,at least more then they expected anyway.

Got the p-rod yesterday and have set her up and shot 50 or 60 shots or so.Shes doing real well so far.Gonna get some wood for her now.Nice little pistol
