Sounds like you need a CO2 pistol to push the thrill and frustration buttons to the limit.

Crosman Vigilante is quite interesting!

I have read and re-read ya'lls replys.  I've stayed up late into the morning doing on online research of everyone's suggestions.  Thank you all for some great input.  There were some excellent suggestions.  I have to be practical and consider my physical limitations too.  I'm going to be out of work soon, on disability after rotator cuff surgery.  In the final analysis I've taken Archie's advice and invested in a CO2 pistol.  I'm only going to have one hand to shoot with and I won't be able to manage a pump or break barrel so it's got to be a gasser.  PA has the Crosman 2240 for just $99 right now so I ordered one with a steel breech.  I also ordered a shoulder stock and a 14.5" tube.  All for $154 and change (shipped).  I'm not a big fan of CO2 guns, but this will give me something to play with while I'm laid up.  If I don't like it someone will be getting a great deal on a used 2240!
Anyhoo...  Thanks for all your interest and advice.  Don't think it's wasted.  I've got a whole new list of guns I want now!
