Looking at this as back yard target pistol plinker and 25 yd squirrel gun

Looks to be very accurate, moderate velocity. enough for squirrel's ?

Can you mount a scope on it, my eyes don't see like they used to

I recently bought one of these and there's no rail or dovetails or anything besides the iron sights. They are some of the best plain target sights I've encountered in a long time, though! The accuracy is just absurd. Ridiculous, even. I think it will outshoot most of my rifles. I would probably not shoot a squirrel with it, as it's intended to be a paper puncher and isn't producing a great deal of power. The accuracy is certainly there if you do your part. If you need a scope, you might consider a Beeman P-17. I've got both and they are very similar guns in style and operation. The Beeman has those nasty fiber optic sights almost everyone else seems to adore, but it also has a nearly full-length dovetail atop the "slide" that should work for about any optic. It's got a great trigger, too. Not like the V10, but still a great trigger.

I just purchased one, got a good deal on it on e bay new in the box $259.00 including Ca tax.

It looks like it will not be a squirrel gun but a great entry target and short range plinker.  I'll have to save my money for the HW45

looking forward to trying some 10m targets in the back yard.

Wish I would have seen this earlier.

I would recommend a Crosman Custom Shop CO2 pistol for backyard plinking and pest control, my 2300KT is great and gets the job done.....

That is what it was known as for years before Air Venturi bought the rights to it from Gamo and changed the name.
