I've read the stickies regarding posting pictures, and I'm still having trouble. I don't use Photobucket, so I've uploaded photos I want to post to my Media folder.
The instructions in the stickies say to "Click on the photo in the album you want to attach and it will open in a web browser." When I click on the photo I get a larger version of the photo in the middle of my screen.
Next, the instructions say "Go to the address box and copy the web address for it." The web address doesn't change, as it doesn't open in a new browser tab. The only address showing is the one for my Media album. If I right-click on the larger photo, I get an option to copy the image address.
Next instruction is "In the toolbar above, click on Insert Image. Right click and paste the address of the photo you just copied." I tried following this, and copied the image address in between the "(img)(/img)". When I click on "Preview", there is no image shown in the post. If I just copy the image address into the text of my post without first clicking on Insert Image, the preview doesn't show the photo, but is does show the image address. I presume readers of the post would then have to click on the address to open the image. I tried this, and it does work. But who wants to click on images to open them in a different window?
What am I doing wrong?

If you're using a computer, you can upload straight from any file on it using the attach option below. You have to watch the file sizes, there's a limit to how big they can be, but click below where it says Attachments and other options, then click the Choose file button and in the window, find the folder with the pics you want to upload. Double click the picture, it will load and below next to the button, you'll see your file name. You'll also see allowed file types and allowed size info down there. If you have more than 1, just do the same thing for each one.
If you're trying from a phone, I'm clueless having never done it that way or from the GTA media file I also have.
Hope this helps some

Thank you, Steve. I do know about the method of using the "Attachments" (guess I should have mentioned that). I'm trying to load the pictures into specific sections of the post, rather than have them show up at the bottom of the post after all the text. I've got a number of them I want to include in a post, and I think it might be confusing to have them all at the end.
