CPHPs VS Disco HP's VS H&N Barracuda Match at 75 Yds-Hammerli Pneuma

I decided to buy some other pellets to see if I could get fewer flyers and smaller groups with my Hammerli Pneuma. The gun is shooting the CPHP's at 830-840 FPS over a 15 shot spread. I shot 1 shot at each target and moved to the next with the gun charged about 10 Bar over the sweet spot. I will try to do some testing charging the gun and shooting one pellet type only but today is was dusk and I was short of time.
Below is the target.
I think they can all tighten up with some improvement on my part but it appears little difference between the discovery pellets and the CPHP's. The H&N appear useless but I may try them at higher power levels.

I think the disco hp's shot tighter the tightest group.. only of the 8 are not touch and their not strung out as much as the cphp's..
Did you notice barrel fitment wise any difference between the cphp and disco ?
I compared them and the disco's where many many times more consistant in barrel fitment then the cphp's

Those are some pretty nice groups at 75 yards!
It seems that more money doesn't always equal better performance. Group sizes for the Disco and CPHP are about the same. I would agree with mustangmike, except that the lower part of the Disco group has 2 or 3 shots in it, indicating these were not flyers.
Two more pellets you should certainly try are CPL and CPH; they are all-around good performers. Same with JSB Exact (and Exact RS and Exact Heavy)
Is that .177 or .22?

I've been using the .177 discovery 10.5gr HP extensively in my discovery and now in the Ruger air mag and these pellets are the most consistent shooters i've ever bought from crosman. I'm still not using any other crosman pellet but do love these benji hp's. J

The shots to the left of the bull on the cphps and discos were shots 1,2,4,5. So the 1st 2 shots on the cphps were seperated much more than the discos. Sfter that things moved up some. I shot a lit th le outside the sweet spot on my gun. I hope to try more tonight on individual fills for each pellet. Gotta rig up my nitrogen bottle as the pump had died.
I couldnt notice snd difference on how the pellets fin other than the h&n pellets being harder to close the bolt.
