Guys, I need to buy a bipod for my discovery and I'm wondering whats a good one to get.
I would all so like any help you could provide as far as technique on how and where to mount on the rifle.

It mounts to sling stud on the forestock, accessory weaver rail, or barrel clamp. Harris is the top tier mfg of bipods, so that's why you'll see "Harris type or style" in description of other mfg's. Be sure to get a sling stud or sling stud/weaver combo to use with your disco stock. Amazon has a ton of these with a bunch of reviews (more than PA) to compare. I can't give you a specific recommendation, just a research starting point.

If you can find a "clamp on" style that will fit a 7/8" OD (22mm) tube that would work as well.... providing it doesn't wrap around the air tube as that would interfere with the barrel....

Look for the shortest one you can find, mine is 6.7in with out extending the legs and I wish it was in the 4 to 5 inch range with the legs not extended.. when laying down I have to hold my self up on my elbows if I am at a high elevation then my target... after a few minutes ur elbows start to hurt and if ur not putting it on a barrel you have to account for the bipod being further back on the stock since it hold the rifle up higher

I use this. I didn't want to drill into the synthetic stock of the Indy. I shoot off hand most of the time, but this works really well.
