Any one use BBT in an FX Impact

Looking at the FX Impact Mk3 in .22 or .25. Just wondering if anyone has tried BBT bullets in the slug liner? Results?

It seems with the larger plenum it might be able to move them fast enough.

I shoot the NOE 217-30-FN-BJ5 4 Cavity RG4 cavity BT.  Mine drop at 28.4grs with the HP pin.  I have the tune set @ 905 fps average and get 51 fpe.  Regulator set @ 125 bar and I get 88 shots per fill. There is more depending on what the tune is.
Accuracy is width of CO2 cartridge @ 50 yards easily.  That's the furthest I currently have to shoot.

I’m using the same mold from an Impact x with the 600mm slug liner . I only shoot the HP and accuracy is about an inch at 50 for 5 shots. Great little bullet. I’ve just started casting the https://noebulletmolds.com/site/shop/224/218-25-rf-d6/218-25-rf-d6-rg2-2-cavity
Unfortunately I’m having difficulties with the pins and mold not closing well once up to temp. On another note the older 31Gn BBT shoot equally well from just about any rifle or pistol I have put them through.

Denis.... Try bending the brackets that hold the pins down a few thou.... The pins need to tilt out of the cavity under their own weight when the mould is cold.... but all need to be the same, of course, or the weight will vary in different cavities.... Also, make sure that when the mould is closed that you can see a tiny gap on BOTH sides of the pin where it sits in the slot in the bracket.... If the pin is against one side, it may not tilt or close properly.... There is a bit of play in the brackets, so tightening them up in the right "rotation" to not drag on one side of the pin is a bit fiddly....

Thanks Bob , as per your and Knifes recommendations , I adjusted the pin height and it made all the difference in the world. Cast up about 1000 bullets and actually got a chance to shoot close to 300 bullets today. Both the bullets mentioned above did super well. Theses BBT’s unsized shot just over an inch at 100 yards for a 5 shot group in some serious wind. I’m impressed with both the bullet and the rifle.

I really like the BBT's a lot myself, they're really good shooting slugs with the right rifle.  That RG2 brass mold (217-30-FN) makes beautiful HP slugs for sure, the 250-41-FN also does too but the mold that I use for those has the Lyman HP pin for just the one cavity, it works great but would be nice if it was the RG2 type, then it would be 2 at a time rather than one.
