New Rainstorm settles in and pictures have been added

Well my Rainstorm has come back from Will Piatt and all I can say is WOW! Being a carbine and having 43 FPE it is a little on the loud side and I am waiting for my shroud adapter and a TKO to arrive and hope they will solve the noise issue. Other than that after about 500 shots the Rainstorm, as the pictures show is settling in very nicely. The target was at 40 yards and the squares & red dot (what is left of it) are 1/2" and the 10 shot group is easily covered the by a dime and I was shooting from a bench rest with a rest under the forend using Beeman Kodiaks 21.14 pellets. The Rainstorm is one nice PCP, light, accurate and powerful. I do have one small issue to resolve, which is that every now and then, maybe once in 30 shots when cocking the Rainstorm the magazine does not rotate. I have read that this does happen sometimes and shimming the cocking linkage solves the issue, just wish they explained where and how much to shim. I hope a little research finds answers on that issue! Other than that I really like my Rainstorm and it is beginning to put my MRod in the back seat!

OK I finally finished the little addition I wanted to make to my Rainstorm, which only added 4 1/2" to the length of rifle and it is now very quite (thanks to Johnny Quest for the idea). OK so now here are the pictures of my Baby.

How does it compare to the m-rod now?

All I hear is the hammer strike than the pellet hitting the target. I would say it is the same or a bit quieter than the M Rod
