How to size my avatar to fit space allowed
«
on:
March 27, 2020, 10:21:10 AM »
Good morning
I think this is the correct forum for this
I posted a new avatar however it is severly cropped on the page
If you click on it you can see the difference, I believe.
Is anyone able to instruct me in sizing the image to fit in the space allowed. please?
Thanks
Ed

I have no idea how to do it the easy way. I just mess with it a dozen times or so cropping until I get lucky. I’m of no help, but interested if someone knows an easier way.

Go to where ever your pic is stored on your computer and
right
click on it.
click "Open With" and select "Paint" from the drop-down menu.
Once it opens in the Paint program , at the top left you should see a "resize" button.... click that.
Now, put a percentage in smaller than 100. (75%, 50%, 30%) If it is not enough or too much, click "Undo" (the blue arrow pointing counterclockwise) and try again.
Once it is the correct size, click "save"... or "save as" and rename it if you want to keep the original.
If you do not have a Microsoft OS, I have no idea.

Thanks to all that offered advice
Special thanks to
ezman604
for resizing the image
I saw the new image before seeing the replies and thought it was the result of a conspiracy to resize my personal image
Unthinkable in an election year!

Here I am suggesting old school editing... jesh, you kids today.
Now, seeing
Jshooter71
new avatar, it reminded me of the old AA/Fuel masks the Dragster guys wore back in the day!
Should protect me from catching Corona here on GTA.
