I just received my .257 HP Raptor and my first impressions are that I'm impressed with design and fabrication. Upon careful inspection they did a great job in the assembly and testing. I had to add some AR15 rubber palm guards to the front picatinny rail for off hand use. I just received the NOE .257 mold so now I have to find time to cast up some slugs before I can put it through it's paces. It took some time to receive it, but to me it was well worth the wait. There will be more .257 reports once I get it broken in.

I've been in email contact with Jacob about parts, and he's on the ball. My email was answered same day. I think they are going to catch up, and do well.

Really nice looking gun Bob !!! I'm willing to bet you'll be able to get the cast NOE''s to do a fantastic job out of that gun. Coyote gun all the way. Definitely subsribed.

Wayne, your are correct, a Coyote gun it is. A couple of weeks ago I had a pack of 8 Coyote's in my backyard chasing a rabbit and my two young grandson's love to camp out and play back there. The Coyote's have been thriving on the neighborhoods pets so I'm planning to thin them out.

We're eat up with them here right now. Always are at calving season. Many packs. all ripping and yipping at once. Un-nerving. I never walk the pup unless I have the Raptor or 1911 on me.

Matt I ordered and have the NOE 258-63-FN-B6 RG2 which presently is my only 257/258 mold but I do have all of the NOE sizers for this caliper.
Today I'm planning to cast a few hundred, if I find time.

One thing I'll probably do in the near future is to buy me a 10lb pot because with the heavier pellets and slugs I run out of lead fast. That little old 4lb single heat still works good after having it for 40+ years it's amazing that it still works.
